Sunny Tickler Vibrator Review

The flower theme is something that hasn’t been delved into much in the vibrator industry, and this is strange, considering all the dolphins and rabbits that have long since evolved beyond being just animals. But here is a sunflower-like vibe; it is colourful, playful and has a lush roundness than hints eroticism without kitsch. Besides, who doesn’t think sunflowers make the strongest impression?

Don’t expect the scale to be anything like a big old sunflower. The Sunny stands just under 5” high (123mm) so it is most definitely a clitoral vibrator. It has a curve that can reach for a G-spot, or do some shallow penetration, but is by no means designed for fullness during penetration.

The Sunny Tickler is as smooth and luxurious to the touch as its other Tickler team mates, but to me the particular bright yellow shade detracts from its charm, making it less stylish than the Rebel and the Cute Ticklers.

There is just one speed, which is the main down point as far as this vibe goes. Having said that, the buzz is strong at the tip, as though the petals and bulb in the centre gather all the vibrations and pour them out with all their force. If you’d like a gentler tickle, you can try placing the shaft on your clit or other chosen spot. The vibration gets weaker as you move down towards the base, so although it isn’t obvious to use the stick, it can be done. The Sunny is best held at the very bottom, because that is where the buzz is minimal. If you hold on to it with your whole hand, you may be a bit irritated after some time with the finger buzz.

The Tickler comes with a little plastic stand. It is so simple but entirely thoughtful, for that moment after use when you know enough to want to land your toy hygienically, but are too spaced out to want to get up and clean it. The stand allows you to pop it in and stand it up, which it would otherwise not be able to do. As for storing, you could leave it on the stand on your nightstand if you are an ardent users and not afraid to advertise it, but for most of us, a little cloth bag would be best to toss it into to keep it clean between use. There is no bag included, so you’ll have to procure one or perhaps re-designate your glasses box or bag.

The waterproof feature is always a great addition. It gets you around the noise issue, if that is a problem where you get to use it. Just take it with you into the shower or hook yourself up while you’re running that bath. Its also a pleasure to wipe off; as long as you close it properly, you’ll never have to worry about wetting the motor and doing damage.

The little LR1 battery is not one that you’d tend to have hanging around the house, so it is thoughtful that they included a battery in the package.

Sunny Tickler is one member of the new Tickler range of vibrators, each designed to capture a specific personality, while remaining playful. Sunny is part of the family whose other members are Cute, Rebel, Mystic and Bunny.
