Leaf Life Vibrator Review

If green is your lifestyle and minimal is your taste, this adorable little leaf will grow your fantasies and shake your tree.

Even before you get your hands on the crafted palm-sized vibe, you’ll be thrilled at the presentation. It arrives in a discreet but eco-classic board box with a magnetic closing mechanism. There is no way you’ll want to recycle this box anytime soon.

Inside, in a soft hemp sachet is the surprisingly small Life vibrator. It is obviously rechargeable – all the greenest ones are – so couple of hours of charging and you’re free to take that leaf where probably no leaf has gone before. The lively green is a rare colour for vibrators but entirely refreshing and attractive.

The leaf is designed to fit comfortably on the vulva, but also to reach tiny (clitoris) points or larger flat area. It has angles to meet every external need and some shallow internal ones too. I wouldn’t say it would be an easy toy to use for G-spot play because it is too small to manipulate internally but it can give a could massage to the outer and inner labia area.

Its small physique has some drawbacks for a woman who wants more internal play or lazy clitoral reach, but then it wasn’t designed for those ladies. It is a dream vibe for the woman who prioritises discretion because no-one would ever guess that this little leaf is a vibrator, and a good one at that.

The Life has a variety of speeds, all reached with a single button. You press once to switch it on and hold it down to strengthen the vibrations. It goes from very gentle to relatively powerful, a good range for such a tiny toy. There is a small problem with the power control. While a second push is the way to switch it off, if you run through the speeds and do not remove your finger fast enough, it switches off. You could find this a bit frustrating until you get the pace under your control.

While the general look and feel is a smooth surface with 100% utility (ie. every millimeter vibrates and can be used, there are no off limits areas), a close feel indicates that there is a lot of excess imprinting on the surface. The imprinting is very subtle, but it is as if the whole instruction manual is there in code: the Powerbullet logo, the CE logo, the ‘Do not recycle’ logo, the voltage and some other number. I do not see the need to have them all on hand, but my feeling is that most users do not scrutinize as much as this reviewer does, so it may not be an issue after all.

I particularly liked the fact the the leaf itself comes wrapped in a clear wrapping (to be tossed) with a bold sticker, warning that it is NOT to be used with silicone lubricant and that a water-based lubricant is the only one that should be used. This is very well-stated because many users will find themselves using a lubricant even if they do not buy one originally, and they may not read the fine print buried deep in the instruction manual about silicone on silicone being bad for the vibrator. There is also the unclear issue of oil-based lubes which are not clearly dangerous to the material, but are also not good for it, so being told to steer clear from the start is a good policy and it is clearly made.
